Cookie Policy
A precise account of the technologies used on this website and the choices available to visitors.
Published and effective: 14 April 2026
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small data records stored by a browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, software development kits and identifiers used to provide a service, remember a choice or understand activity. This policy uses “technologies” to refer to them collectively.
How Valistros uses them
The current Valistros website uses strictly necessary technologies to operate securely and remember privacy preferences. These include the Valistros first-party preference cookie and essential security technologies provided through the website's hosting and network infrastructure. Valistros does not currently use optional functional, analytics or marketing technologies and does not embed third-party media, social widgets, analytics or advertising services.
| Provider | Cookie or technology | Purpose | Category | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Valistros | valistros_consent | Records selected categories, consent date and time, consent-policy version, and renewal date. | Essential | Six months | First party |
| Cloudflare, Ltd. | __cf_bm | Identifies and mitigates automated or malicious traffic and supports website security. | Essential | 30 minutes after inactivity | First-party context; infrastructure provider |
| Cloudflare, Ltd. | cf_clearance — only when a Cloudflare security challenge is triggered | Records that a visitor has successfully completed a security challenge and prevents the challenge from being repeated unnecessarily. | Essential | Determined by the applicable Cloudflare security configuration | First-party context; infrastructure provider |
Essential technologies
Essential technologies support core website functions, security, accessibility, network management and the recording of privacy preferences. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking and cannot be disabled through the preference panel.
Functional technologies
Functional technologies would support optional features or preferences that are not required for the website to operate. No functional technologies are currently used.
Analytics technologies
Analytics technologies would help assess traffic and performance, with collection minimised and aggregated where possible. No analytics technologies are currently used.
Marketing technologies
Marketing technologies would measure campaigns, personalise communications or track activity across services. No marketing technologies are currently used.
Third-party services
Cloudflare operates as part of the website's hosting and network-security infrastructure and may set the essential security technologies listed above. These technologies remain active regardless of the visitor's optional-cookie choice. The website contains ordinary outbound links to Google Maps, LinkedIn and Instagram. No content from those services is embedded or loaded by Valistros before a visitor follows a link. Once followed, the destination service applies its own privacy and cookie practices.
How long preferences and cookies are retained
The privacy-preference record expires six months after the visitor makes or updates a choice. Valistros asks again when that period ends, when categories or purposes materially change, or when this policy changes in a way that affects consent.
How visitors can change or withdraw consent
Use Cookie Settings in the footer at any time to review or change the current selection. Disabling a category stops future use of relevant optional technology and removes associated first-party cookies where technically possible. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent access to this website.
Browser-level cookie controls
Most browsers allow visitors to inspect, block or delete cookies through privacy settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent the website from remembering a privacy choice, so the notice may reappear on a later visit.
Updates to the policy
This page and its technology table are updated when the website’s implementation changes. If a new optional purpose or service is introduced, Valistros will update the consent-policy version and request a new choice before that technology is activated.
